i485 denied not i130
hey family 4 days ago my i485 got denied with my i765 and i131 so today i got the mail and i found out the problem is with my RFE which is my Lawyer sent them back last month and the problem is he didn't but the right numbers and he didn't make me sign the form so long story short should i file a motion to reopen with new forms and tax paper and all the sponsor paper or should i refile the case again one more time

how is it you do all the right things and you get a lawyer that ruins your chances from filing incorrectly. l would inform the lawyer if the issue is not resolved l will report to lawyers Bar. this is so wrong on lawyers part. l cannot believe your lawyer.

what was your RFE about?
according to you said, that was your lawyer's fault. try to refile again or he has to pay all fee

that happened with my case they denied it long story short we reopened the case and the lawyer put my husband name on the form and not mine and we had to pay for them to reopen the case and it got denied. so he had to do the forms all over again. it’s a stressful situation I been waiting since March 2020 for my i130 to be approved it got approved March 2021 now I’m waiting for my 485 🙃

@tom don’t reopen your case. they gonna get your money and your time. and in the end you gonna end up filing all again. what state are u in? and what’s your pd?

guys I have they same 1 290b case file motion to reopen since August 2021 they mail me letter say they receive my appeal &incase they need biometric they will mail also I send Renew of my ead June 2021 and 23 days ago I get update they close my form because beneficiary receive status true other means I don’t know what it mean I stress out so it’s being 8 months & yesterday I receive letter that’s they receive my appeal and transfer my case to they chief officer at federal plaza ny & incase I need to make inquiry I should mail them
