I485
Hi, Anyone whose I485 case has been transferred to El Paso, Texas field office for employment based category? How does your timeline to approval look like? My I485 has been transferred to El Paso which is non-local FO for me and sitting there since November 15 with no further updates after biometrics received.

so one live agent told me - only reason to transfer a case to non local FO is so that case is reviewed and a decision is made sooner .

@battling giants yes, that’s what they say! don’t know how accurate it is

atleast it’s in their minds - not sure if we can rely on that though. one thing I’ve realized since waiting that this process is as arbitrary as it can get .

yes..I feel the timeline to approval depends a lot on the field office and it’s processing speed..😕
