i485 & i130 approved
🥳Hi, just wanted to share my timeline with you, hoping it’ll give some peace and insight to others.
I also want to specify that I did 2 expedite requests : 1 for my AP (it came together with my work permit) and the other one 3 days ago, for my i485.
My husband is in the military and so he asked to his superiors (JAG) to step in, so that may or may not have helped.
My case finally fully got approved after having my interview June 29th in New York.
For those that are still waiting, stay patient as it is a virtue, stay calm. Keep pushing and inquiring, otherwise you’ll be stuck in the backlog.
For those that have an advance parole and are scared to travel, TRAVEL!
The advance parole is not decoration, it has a purpose and that’s why it’s been issued to you.
I traveled 3 times this summer, back to Europe for weeks; after overstaying my VISA for over 2 years.
Unless you have a criminal record, you are fine to travel.

congratulations! My priority date is 3 days before yours and we have the same service center. We’ve had no interviews, and only received EAD in July. Please permit me to ask a few questions:
When we spoke to our JAG at the beginning of the process, they didn’t give us any information different from what was on the USCIS site. And the USCIS Military Family support offers services tailored for members not in the US, or in other special circumstances. I’d like to try again: what request did you make of
the JAG, specifically? And what did they do?
Also, how did you expedite i-485? I didn’t find an option on the website and the system didn’t allow me
to submit a case inquiry.
