yes, I think you should have submitted their birth certificates, because that’s the only proof of their dates of birth. but I think you can still upload it through your USCIS account, if you have one opened already. otherwise, you just wait till they send you an RFE and you can then send it to them and whatever documents they request.

did you include pictures in your application and submission. if not, also start looking for pictures of when you were born, your infant pictures, toddler, teen etc, where you were with your parents. it goes a long way to making them get you approved quicker. you should also scan the pictures to them thru your USCIS account. Don’t wait till they ask for these things. it’ll help them make their decision faster. otherwise you might get an RFE and that waste a lot of time.

@Andy Olu,what if you don't have pictures with your mom,is that gonna be a problem when they ask for RFE?
Andy GodDec 30, 2021
well, if they asked for it, you should at least get 1 picture where you were with your mum. if you don’t have 1, then you can do a write up explaining why you do not have 1 and hopefully they’ll believe and approve. but the 2nd huddle would come from their interview at the embassy. they’ll ask for pictures….just like they did for my parents. at that time, my parents didn’t take no pictures with them to the embassy. so they were asked to go get it and reschedule their interview because of that. the next time they went, my parents took tons of pictures with them lol. we take pictures a lot in my family, from child birth to infancy to teenage years to high school and so forth.

@andy olu i was able to upload my parents birth certificate and pictures. do you think this gonna take time of approval becoz i uploaded my document today?

@boss lady, it won’t affect the processing time don’t worry

@mohamed aldawood ohh thats a relief! thank you
Andy GodDec 30, 2021
no it’s not gonna affect your processing time, in fact, uploading might make approval quicker. but also try to mail it, print the pictures on a paper and mail to them. that way, you are sure they get it. a lot of people are more concerned with approval and not due process. if USCIS don’t get what they ask for, they can’t approve anything. so I prefer to do things diligently, even if it takes forever for them to approve. I know approval would come surely. because if you make mistakes scanning or uploading stuff you are not suppose to upload, you might get denied. and that’s the end of it. so take your time and upload or go to the post office to mail it or do both and just wait for your sure approval.
