I130 F2A upgrade
Approved finally 🎉🎉🎉🎉 originally file as a geeen card holder and got citizenship last month and requested for upgrade then had to wait for 30 days and still wasn’t upgraded. called and was told to wait. Called again yesterday and this agent said he’ll put in another request for the upgrade and outside processing time and it wouldn’t cancel the request before but it might take 30 days. He spent 20 minutes typing in my ears because I was expressing to him so I guess he put that in the request sent 😅. I pray again last night and woke up to case activitly review today on case tracker . sign in my account and saw approval under documents . account still showing actively review with today date. NVC next 😬#18months and finally

@DoIt ForMe Congratulation on your citizenship. Just write the service center handling your case and attach a copy of your naturalization certificate. Those people on the phone can’t do much for you. All the best.

my husband is petitioner we applied i130 f2a, he got citizenship within 42 days of application on 19th September. he called USCIS agent for upgrade and agent said to wait for a month. so shall we wait or can we do something more ? help would be appreciated and big congratulations 🎉 your post gave me hope

@suchana pachhai I’ve waited a month and few days but yes call because some people get it upgraded in few days. did he submit his citizenship certificate online? and request the upgrade same day?

@suchana pachhai they are gonna tell you wait 30 days because it can take that long but make sure the naturalization certificate is uploaded on his account under the i130 petition

@suchana pachhai maybe because mines was taking longer than expected for the past 6 months then it had suddenly went to 7 months after I requested the upgrade . but got approved and it was still showing 7 months until case close. how many days since you requested the upgrade ?

hello @DoIt ForMe you are very lucky for me. yesterday another active review showed in my case and immediately my case was approved and now it is transferred to nvc. thank you so much. how many days do you think it would take , I have to give interview too right?
