you should submit documents just to be on safer side as I believe they will only give 48 hours or something to submit your supporting docs for expedite.

They will send email for documents, those documents will have to be sent within 48 hours to the email provided within that email

We submitted an expedite request too. Where do you see it changed to actively reviewing? is that here in this app? or somewhere else? Also, which service center are you with? We are with Nebraska.

I would definitely suggest that you submit the documents as requested so that you can continue on the expedited path.

Also, when did you originally submit your expedite request? ours was submitted on Jun 3. We were told to wait to receive an email, which we expect to receive by tomorrow, they said.

My case has been actively reviewing since April 6 with no updates. I’d submit the expedite.

I tried submitting an expedite request like 3 months ago and was denied and told my case was assigned to an officer so it has already passed the phase of expediting. But my case was never changed to actively being reviewed or anything?? what should I do

My PD is Feb/2020, I submitted an expedite request which got denied without any evidence request. But the day (Feb/2021) I received denial email, my status also got changed to "Your case is being actively reviewed by USCIS". Till today I never heard anything back. So I will highly recommend to submit your documents as requested.

I also read online that people see their status changes to being actively reviewed after few days of application submission. So I would never believe on this.

There might be a reason behind this status change to "being actively reviewed". If you PD is beyond the posted processing time on USCIS website, you can inquire about your case being Outside Normal Processing Time. While putting in inquiry there is a question, "Last Action Taken on Case by USCIS". So you will have to answer that your case is being activity reviewed. So technically you answer your own question while inquiring about your case. I hope it make sense.

@Aya A ,, I guess you will just have to wait. Or call them back again and ask them what is the status. Because you do not have any other option left.

@Mrs. Ike,, You can check your case status on your USCIS online account. It shows the status of your case and a lot of other stuff.
