i130 Actively being reviewed
it just seems to good to be true and I don’t wanna get my hopes up! but I just got an update stating my case is “being actively reviewed” on 6/15/21. PD 5/29/21, Nebraska Center. how long does this usually take before an RFE or an approval? thank you!

Mine has a PD of 5/27/21, and got actively reviewed the same date as yours. I don't want to get my hope up, but, man oh man, my hopes are up. I wish ours get approved like Amen Love. It's the third day now, I hope there's no any problem.

@kian I know! It seems way too good to be true but I keep checking my status multiple times ever since. I hope ours do get approved real soon, keep me updated!

Depending on the home country try of the beneficiary it could be anywhere from 3 - 5 months. My parents got theirs approved in just under 3 months from the date it moved into actively being reviewed.

To be honest I feel USCIS support at times gives random information I feel. They told me that for my parents one was in Vermont and other in Nebraska and in the end they both were approved by the same officer on same day. So I don't even know how they even saw Vermont Edit: I will say just wait and watch

jozle did you apply online? I did and also got actively reciewed pretty fast April 25 applied, April 27 actively reviewed. same situation Nebraska center but being processed in California. I did lots of looking at the posts from others and determined that the wait (for petitions like ours, nebraska transferred to California) can be as fast as two months, average 4 to 6 months, longest one I saw like ours was 8 months. :) the transfer process is not to slow it down, it's going to be okay!

I got the same situation as you! but wouldn’t getting transferred to California mean the processing times is longer? Where are you seeing that Nebraska transfered to Cali cases Had a different processing time ?

jozle I did my research by searching things like "California Nebraska" or "California approved" on the lawfully forum as well as on some i130 facebook groups. also I have noticed that (not fairly but it's a fact) the online applications tend to get approved faster. online filing only began in October 2019. those California cases which are taking so long (and show in the uscis processing times table for california) are paper cases sent by mail. its very unfortunate they take that long, but seems like they don't take that long for online cases.
