i130 account acceptance notice after 6 months
I know some folks already posted the same thing. But my husband (petitioner) received his account acceptance notice after 6 months since we submitted our application. For whoever had the same experience, did y’all have your cases handled by National benefit center? If so, does that mean the case has been transferred from the local field office back to the NBC again? I will ask Emma on Monday where the case is. Hopefully this is a sign to get approved soon…If anyone had similar experience, please share. Not trying to expect too much anyway. Maybe it’s some officer simply checking if something is missing before they leave office for Thanksgiving vacation and found out some notices were forgotten to mail out..
Update: Just contacted Emma. They said my case is at NBC now. They disconnected when I continue asking when the case was transferred back to NBC from my local field office… not sure if I can trust those people but hope this is true

My husband got online account activation notice today. we filed on May 24th 2023. so I am also surprised why after 6 months they sent it ?

Same here my husband got it today but date 11/7. we filed on April 21st 2023. Center NBC.
what does that mean? I received my EAD and Travel Doc in October.

Same here, center is NBC and the notice date is 11/07. Our priority date is 5/4/23

@PH 26 @S P @AJ Correa We should all send a quiry on Monday to ask where our case is located. If they say it is at NBC instead of our respective local field office. That means we will get approved soon. If not, then it’s probably some officer totally missed sending the notice. Nothing else

same here applied in February and received online access code six months later and from a different service center I’m not complaining - I take it as a sign that at least the case is alive and well somewhere in the system 😜

yup 6 months later from NBC. I haven’t asked Emma if my case has transferred but looks like they did a massive batch of these. not sure it means anything

just contacted Emma. This guy said my case is at NBC. Not sure if I can trust them at all but if that is true, that means they transferred the case back from my local field office to NBC. I need to call them to double check. F.Y.I @Ivan R @AJ Correa @PH 26 @Anna M @w s @God over everything

@PH 26 Interesting. Emma told me that my 485 was transferred back to field office from NBC on May and 130 on June. Asked them multiple times with the same answer. Maybe I should call them instead.

@Max Smith it’s the fastest response to get you off their back. I once asked for a tracking number for my EAD and the guy just says “it hasn’t been mailed yet, allow 60 days” meanwhile it HAD been mailed and arrived at my lawyers that afternoon. They get paid by the hour not the accuracy of their responses!

@w s don’t thinks so. The customer service said it’s at NBC and I was like could you please confirm this again. She said ops it’s at my local office. So basically nothing changed. I guess I have to wait until next year lol

well if it’s at a field office that seems better than NBC. mine’s in a black hole. 130/131 have been “received” 😭🔫
