Hi guys, I just want to know how long does it take to get approved? Yesterday my husband (citizen) sent the i 130 form to uscis, for my children and today I received an update, the case is being actively reviewed, what this means?

130s take about 11-13 months. active review means absolutely nothing unfortunately. its the second time you get the notification that it actually means they’re looking at your case.

@w s how do you understand if it is second time actively review. Mine case was saying it is taking than longer then it raised up to 2 months again. Does it mean second time actively reviewing?

the second time they actively review it will be a notification saying they are actively reviewing your case. the progress tab doesn’t mean much. mine has been reset from taking longer than expected after 6 months to a new 6 months. be prepared for 11-13 month wait
