same here i have applied i130 application petition for alien relative since april 2013 and on june 18 2024 it says actively reviewed and until now no any further information is provided!!

wow it’s really a long time since you filed. what will be the issues why they are delaying that. my friend that’s file on 2022 has been approved last two months. it’s really frustrating seriously

you definitely should sue if it’s been this long. processing time for the spouse of a US citizen is 15 months. @Arinze Nnaji

I sent in my application on 2020 didn’t get a response back until end of 2022, if you go on the website it lets you know the processing time per country of Origen some take longer than others

@Juana O so it has something to do with the country of origin? i know of a lady from my country and she got married 2020 and on 2022 she went for interviews and they gave her 10years

@Arinze Nnaji 10 years to not be in the US? and yes so example someone from Europe will get their papers processed faster then someone from Latin American. if you don’t have a lawyer you could get one and see if they can help make it go faster or find out why it’s taking so long

@Arinze Nnaji you can create a service request with Emma. you’re way out of processing time so it should do something. I’d also do congressperson. this is crazy

@Juana O i filed the application through a lawyer and when I contacted them last two weeks and they said that my case is still normal time processing. I don’t get it.

@Arinze A it’s really easy to contact your congressperson. just google congressperson and the city you live in. go on their website and call the contact number. someone will pick up the phone and you tell them you want help with USCIS. They will send you a release form and then contact USCIS on your behalf once that’s completed.
