your receipt number is your ticket to getting any info about your case. even if you call USCIS they will ask for it. if you have the receipt notice then you can’t get your number wrong.

Is it a new number? Mine took ages to be recognised on the system.

@ Emo Pant I think it was 3 or 4 days, over the weekend. Probably not really long time in the grand scheme of things, but long enough when you just want to know everything is ok.
