Yeah, I'm sorry. I was kind of frustrated yesterday when I put the post but yeah I entered two times illegally when I was 16 and then I went out back to Mexico when I was 28 and then I came back to the USA and they called me and they took my fingerprint and now my lawyer say that I'm not able to apply for the green card because I cannot

@mg g I don't think that's correct, apply for your green card and let USCIS decide. and don't forget to include your medicals when applying for your i485 to avoid unnecessary delays from them.

VAWA can also waive many grounds of immigrant inadmissibility, including unlawful presence and public charge. However, to apply for VAWA cancellation, the applicant must have a pending immigration court case and not a final removal order. VAWA self-petitioners may also be eligible for a waiver of the permanent bar if they can show a connection between the abuse and the event that triggered the bar

Typically, entering the U.S. without inspection makes a person inadmissible. However, VAWA self-petitioners may seek a waiver for this ground of inadmissibility. When applying for adjustment of status (Form I-485), VAWA self-petitioners may also need to file Form I-601 (Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility) to request a waiver for certain immigration violations.
