I sent i131 form month ago, today I got biometrics appointment letter.
Why USCIS not used my previous fingerprints? Is it required for travel documents? Thank you for your answers.

@Bred John i had my biometric appointment too in 2025 and had no issues and was told by my attorney that they don't use the same you submitted for i485

my previous 131 application completed without biometrics. i applied second time a week ago, already got biometrics appointment.

same mine was expired I applied for renew it I have appointment for finger prints next week hopefully they approve it fast not 16 months
