I recently traveled with my combo EAD / AP CARD
I recently traveled overseas with my Combo card / EAD AP. The officer told me to go to the separate section where they were collecting passports and i-131 forms. There were about 20 people in the line. So after 2 hours the officer called my name and just asked for my address. After that, he said you are good to go. Once I got home, I saw that there is a stamp on my passport "Paroled" with an expiration date of 28th May 2023.
Does it mean some kind of status for one year? I don't get it. Why do they need to put expiration day?

does this date match the expiration date on your EAD/AP combo card?
Shruthi SJun 7, 2022
Looks like that date doesn't signify much if you are pending AOS according to this online post https://www.avvo.com/legal-answers/-why-does-the-stamp-on-my-i-94-say-paroled-until-a-3731819.html

I fear that I might not be let in if I travel outside United state

That is nothing. This happened to me and I asked why, because I have 2 years on my card.
He said that is the maximum time he can stamp for parole, but this one nothing, I can stay in the US and travel again. So next trip they will stamp it again.
