I need some Advice🥺
Hello Lawfully community For those filing i-130 for ( spouse) thats in the middle east, i need help on deciding which Embassy to send my wife’s case to! Since the embassy in her home country (Yemen) is shut down, i was suggested to have our case sent to Djibouti, however i have noticed that Djibouti is currently backed up and appointments are taking nearly 14 months for an interview…. We have an option of staying or transferring to Jordan Or Saudia Arabia Any advice on what to do? Does anyone know how long appointments take in those countries? Anything helps! God bless

@asmaa a Ive heard mixed reviews about Malaysia tbh.. but 8 months in Saudia is not bad i guess. It seems like thats the average wait time at most embassies if im not mistaken

@Moe Q i think you have to be a Saudi resident to be able to send your case over there

Unfortunately it’s not up to you. I tried to do the same when filing, but eventually they assigned it to Djibouti. Unless the applicant can show proof of residency for your preferred country.
