@nana boat do you have joint sponsor on your case because that would help because they’ll be like solely responsible for u if their making above the poverty level

@nana boat I experienced something similar with my husband, we had a joint account that was closed due to fraudulent activity on the account so my husband added me to one of his bank account instead of opening a new one, he was using the card while I was waiting for mine but I Zelled into the account and my husband did same so we can pay our bills while waiting for my card. A week after my card came we were scheduled for our interview we were so worried, so we went to our old bank to get a letter that we did had a joint account but it was closed. and we took the only bank statement we had for the new account to our interview. the officer questioned why we only had one, so we explained and gave her the letter for the old one, fortunately she said she understands that it had happened to her account before. also, we included other joint documents to prove that we commingle . so I will advise you take all the lease you’ve had together since you got married, joint tax documents, bills like comed and Xfinity(with both of your names on it). they don’t need everything to be perfect, they just want to be sure your marriage is bonafide.

@Anna B yes we do but it’s old and it’s been long we use and the last time we use it was I think February
