I need help for going school ot not! Let me know your suggestions!!
I have already finished my major last year and used my OPT. now I am using my ead and Should I go back to school to keep my F1 status? or Did I lose my F1 status bc I have already used my Ead?

Is your EAD related to your F1 or you got it from adjustment? if you got your EAD from an OPT program you are still an F1

opps same as me. Yes you will not be on F1 anymore as you used the benefit already

I am in same situation. My lawyer suggested, I can use both OPT and i-485 EAD at the same time to maintain F1 status or just OPT until GC is approved.

most schools accept GC ead for you to start school but you will not be covered by an F1 status. contact your school’s international student services office

@jjw A I didn’t notify my school that I have used my ead. I was receiving my I-20’s

@LM F I have used my ead already but still I was going school. I have graduated and I didn’t want to register to new major.

@LM F my lawyer told me if I don’t go to school basically I lose my F1. I think I am pending right now.

@Greeen 2023 thanks! my lawyer had a same interpretation about using EAD while in F1.
