I hope the NVC phase is less anxiety inducing...
Because at least they have a more definitive timeline unless the embassy slows down for whatever reason. I wish there was more certainty surrounding USCIS approvals instead of waking up wondering if today will be the day. I miss my husband. We haven't seen each other in over a year.

for me it was rhe opposite. the nvc/embassy is a nightmare for my country rep. dom. they have 4 months stuck on august 2023 DQ

@henny henny It's roughly a 10 months wait for an interview at my husband's embassy, but at least it's almost certain it'll be 10 months or less and they actually go in order of DQ. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself. Lol. Half of the anxiety I have at this stage is seeing approvals ranging from 4 weeks to 3 years. You never know where you're going to fall in between there.

@R 🩷 1 week we got the welcome letter and case creation from nvc, i worked for 1 week to start paperwork and kept going over it for 1 week then I submitted payment for both applications to nvc then 3 days after we can start the application then submitted civil documents same day for ds260 1 day later I submitted the documents for i864 I submitted the application then documents 1 day after just need to go over them good before submitting
