It is highly unlikely that petitioners who’s pd is not current are getting visas. Sorry about your frustration. Hope the wait is over for you soon.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
I also saw your comment on the other post. Their pd became current in 2020 after which they applied.
a gJun 15, 2022
uscis especially Texas center is just so frustrating and really stupid for me.It doesn’t make sense to me how come ppl are getting visas w/o any wait like us?WHOSE VISA DATES ARENT EVEN CURRENT.
a gJun 15, 2022
uscis is totally unfair
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
Your visa “becomes current “ on your priority date. for example the other person had a priority date of 2020. When that date arrived their pd becomes current.
a gJun 15, 2022
@eb1 I understand abt who applied after their pd became current but whose pd is already current why not picking up our cases or transfer to nbc ??why is it still in Texas center idk.I’m tired n loosing Hope everyday
M AJun 15, 2022
I agree with you! I see people applying this year and already got their green s**t. but believe me there are cases similar to your case. I applied last year in March and still waiting. All people I know applied after me and their cases were approved. Have you tried to contact congressman or senator? or raise outside processing time?
I feel you but you need to be patient.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
In the same application, applications are not first in first out. They are prioritized according to which country you are from, which priority worker you are etc. So while it might seem unfair (system is 100% broken) its not. it’s just different circumstances. I hope you get approved soon.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
@A G I think you got extremely unlucky with Texas service center. I applied this year and my i485 for EB1a went directly to NBC. Hopefully they fix Texas soon but meanwhile do your best to expedite
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
Yeah definitely try to expedite before September. Otherwise the FY will end and EB will be reset.
a gJun 15, 2022
@ eb1 and Medo A 2019 and still waiting…before that I applied on 2018 but had to refile Bcz my i140never approved from my previous company so had to refile again in 2019 but then this…Again so unlucky .I tried congressman nothing so far…it’s been two months and now I can’t even inquiry they say before aptil2023 I can’t inquire how come others are getting easily.
@eb1 my pd is current right now.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
People who applied this year are more likely to be in different service centers and a higher class of priority workers. For ex Eb1 and Eb2 are prioritized this year due to extra green cards.
a gJun 15, 2022
they say I’m under normal processing but somebody give me answer ato this question how come others cases are ho recently filed get it damn it.
M AJun 15, 2022
I’m EB2 and still waiting
a gJun 15, 2022
eb1 hopefully they fix Texas center soon I am not having these guys.I am extremely frustrated. Is the expedite category same as we submit for i485 or i765??
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
The categories are : Country, Priority Worker and Service center. Also pandemic closed down ASCs and stuff. Some people hit the jackpot but you have to realize this app has 0.000001% of pending applications. Go to Hilitis and Query cases from every service center. Again not defending USCIS but just the most unfortunate circumstances.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
@A G no harm sending multiple requests. Congressman, Emma, Tier 1. Try every option available multiple times! atleast that way they look at your case.
a gJun 15, 2022
@eb1 I understand this too but people from my country and same timeline who submit rfe after me got approval before me..That’s not understandable.
is hilitis an app??
a gJun 15, 2022
@eb1 if I try multiple. inquiry wouldn’t they harm my file??also as I say my pd case is current but my tsc waiting time is 32.5months..I am one month away from that since my i485 filing date is 15ocf2019 But still uscis people not letting me to inquiry before april2023..which meaning waiting for 9months more..I don’t understand this part why I can’t inquire even if I’ll complete 32.5months for only filing i485.
Lucas TJun 15, 2022
@A G, I agree with you. I don’t really understand while E3-3 (other worker) has retrogression from June 2022, but still there are people who got green card while their priority date is not current???? So what is Uscis regulation??!
a gJun 15, 2022
@eb1 is hilitis an app??
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
@A G hilites.today is a website. You can query and look at all the previous cases and casses close to your number and service center etc to see how many are in what stage.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
@A G I don’t know if it’ll harm your file but I would do it in your position. There’s nothing stopping you from enquiring even if they say you shouldn’t.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
Lucas T for ex: Eb1 is always current and has highest priority. It you apply this year, most likely you will get it this year.
a gJun 15, 2022
@eb1 I’ll look into it for sure. And I’ll inquiry no matter what the website or these people say.Thankyou eb1.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
@A G no problem at all. I’m sorry for your frustration and I understand how this can affect the mental game. But just don’t give up because one day you’ll get that green card and it’ll be the best day ever. Hope you succeed with the expedites. Best EB 1.
a gJun 15, 2022
@eb1 do u know how to check country wise then and if my country is in that system or not??
a gJun 15, 2022
I mean prioritizing my country**
a gJun 15, 2022
@eb1 Tysm.I hope we’ll get greened soon.
@lucas T hope u get answers from eb1 already.
EB 1Jun 15, 2022
@A G thank you. Hopefully the green is coming for us! As for the status of applications from your country, they are posted in USCIS website but if you’re not from Mexico, India, China or Philippines they are not posted.

a gJun 16, 2022
@eb1 ur rfe 70days or what??Mine rfe took long time to get approval.
EB 1Jun 16, 2022
No lol no rfe. submitted i485 70 days ago. My I140 was PP so approved in 5 days so in total only been 75 days 😂. I feel bad being impatient because so many folks have been waiting for way to long
Lucas TJun 16, 2022
Big Congratulation A g. Was your case transferred to NBC before approval? What the RFE is about?
a gJun 17, 2022
@eb1 I waited whole year after submitting rfe and got approved.Ohhh long journey..Tysm once again eb1 hope yours get greened soon as well.
@lucas T Tysm ..Mine was in Texas only.Rfe for medical and supplement for my i485 j.
