I've been waiting for 190 days for work permit. You might get lucky but I would prepare myself for looooong haul

these people are wrong. there is something you can do. try to expedite it with the help of a congressperson. if you have a job offer that makes your likelihood of approval a bit higher. make sure you show that your sponsor can support you (ie affadavit of support) but that you also need to be contributing due to x, y, z. best of luck @Jojo Patel
