I had the same situation. Got my AP 8 months after filling then my EAD was pending for a long time just for me to found out my EAD was infact C31 after speaking to USCIS.

@Gods Princess but when you have c31 the process is a little bit longer but eventually you will get it before vawa is approved first God

@mileika García true but I filed C09 in Jan so I hope I get approval soon. I'll only get C31 on Vawa approval.

@Gods Princess on the page of uscis it says on c31 12 month no necessary vawa approval c09 5-6 months
