I asked Emma if my case has been transferred to a field office…
My Emma guy told me that my case is at NBC and that the last time it was reviewed was TODAY… I am freaking out. I didn’t get a notification or anything but the guy said no notices were issued and nothing requires my attention at this time. he also said that cases can be approved at NBC and don’t need to be transferred to a local field office FYI.
does this mean I am close to approval? do they look at your case then just put them back into the black hole? 😂😭

@John Richards yes submitted my medical with everything and responded to an RFE for birth certificate in October 2023.

don’t believe it! i have screenshots of emma telling me it was reviewed on 11/3 and i got no updates since. then i was told it was digitally transferred to the FO. another one said it was still at NBC. my progress tab says 5 months left for i485. its so hard to believe them because the info is always changed 😢

@um ch I also don’t have a progress tab for 485 yet which I think is weird. how do they decide who gets one of those? mine is family based (married to USC)

@um ch i am also IOE092… I’m family based but didn’t file online but I do have an online account and have a progress tab for 131 and 130. my 130 timeline went from taking longer than expected to another 6 months this month and I think it’s just BS because clearly it was wrong on day 1 because that time came and went already

@w s oh i see than I am not sure why its not showing for you! i hope i get my approval before 5 months. its become an obsession at this point to keep looking and asking for updates. emma agents started telling “nothing has changed from the last time you spoke” as in, leave them alone lol

@um ch I actually don’t contact Emma very often. maybe 4 times in total. they don’t seem to provide helpful info.

our case was filed December 2022 and we are still waiting for either green card or travel document.
