@tired from waitingg They won't look at your I-485 until the vawa is approved. But since the application has been in and has the same PD for 3 years, you'd already be out of regular processing time so it should be processed and done soon after vawa approval. I'm aware this is not the case for everybody but I'm hoping that's the case for me too 😅

@Kerry S i filed my whole package in the end of 2018 and got vawa approved this year. I sent them medicals in the end of April and still nothing. I hope that you are correct 🙏

@Mrkvica M. that's a mighty long time. I'm glad they finally approved it though, but the approval usually triggers them to start processing the I-485. After the many years of adjudicating the vawa application I can't imagine what should take them so long to change status. You've already proven everything they need for that. It's like different arms of uscis don't share information so the one that processes AOS has no clue what was on vawa. That's how it seems based on how long some people take to get approved after vawa. Others get done within 6 months of vawa approval. I'm mystified by how the agency operates
