you fill out i-864 since you are the petitioner and your brother in law i-864a the contract will be between your brother in law and sister my guess

Right things to do You as a petitioner must fill I-864 even if you don’t have any income and your husband if he worked legally and filled taxes in USA (with working permit + SSN) must fill I-864A as your household member. If both of your income (husband beneficiary and You petitioner) is below the poverty gardeline at this time you must have a joint sponsor. In your case brother-in-law and your sister (are married and filling taxes together) you must have them fill I-864 as joint sponsor for your brother-in-law and I-864A from your sister as a household member of your joint sponsor (brother-in-law)

@t n first in all thanks for answering me I as a petitioner filled out form I-864 from my wife who lives overseas and my brother-in-law (my sister’s husband) filled out the form I-864 as a joint sponsor also. now I got confused on form I-864a that the contact will be between my brother-in-law and my sister? or between me and one of them?

@s k i-864a is only for joint sponsor i-864 is for you to fill out your sister doesnt have to fill out another i-864 because she is married i-864a is for your brother in law and sister to fill out so it will be between you and one of them because i just checked i-864a only lets you put one household member name as the sponsor
