I-824 Approval (Potomac)
My wife’s I-130 is FINALLY going to the Department of State after being held up by an I-824 case for eight months. My I-824 case was at the Potomac Center for eight months.

@N DeR My 824 was received at the Potomac Center on December 22, 2022.

@fk fj I just waited. It appeared to be all I could do. Both attempts made by the congressman’s office to inquire into it fell flat.

@sophie morse Which service center? We are seeing a pattern of citizens’ 824 cases processing a bit faster, but only by a few months, I think. Citizens are consistently getting processed at Potomac in around eight months. Texas and Nebraska are much worse, Vermont is comparable, and California is faster.
