I-765 renewal in Potomac still pending from March 18th
The renewal documents for the #i-765 were received by USCIS on the 18th and here I am 8 months later still waiting for this lazy people to give me the renewal 😭😭. It used to be so fast in the past but well it is what it is. I wish people would just stop saying "oh don't blame it on the workers they're doing their jobs" but when it's one of us that don't do our respective jobs quick or right then we are hold accountable 😭😭. #ead #potomac

yes, it used to take 90 days maximum to get the EAD. but there've been some changes at USCIS that took effects on August 2020. for instance, they changed the processing times across the board and now different centers have different timing based on the categories that the EAD are filled under. some categories still take 2.5 months, while others can take 10 months and more. it is ridiculous.

case inquiry
Lilo PelekaiNov 7, 2021
@benn bidio, though that is designed to work in our favor, it unfortunately doesn't. and my immigration lawyers told me the same after we did mine last week: "unfortunately, case inquiry rarely works". those were their words.
