@Hussain qadri Most likely to schedule an interview. Did you file N-400? when did you file your I-751?

what was the RFE ? sometimes got transferred to be approved with much less concern of RFE .however, just send them if you don’t get update soonest

@Rocco Forté I haven’t filed for N-400 although my application is pending since Feb 2021 and I will eligible for citizenship next month based on 5 year rule.

@Hussain qadri How strong was the original case you filed? Did you convert to a waiver or you filed as a waiver from the beginning? I am just trying to pinpoint why they decided to transfer your case which indicates they wanna schedule you for an interview

@Rocco Forté My lawyer messed it up. initially it was wavier but his paralegal made me sign at the wrong place where my spouse was supposed to sign. when I got the RFE they clearly mentioned it that I am not eligible for wavier since the application was signed at the place where my spouse was supposed to sign.Then my lawyer responded to RFE to request it for wavier and mentioned in his affidavit that the signature was a mistake. in addition to that I don’t feel I have that strong case since I don’t have much of the evidence for my marriage with US citizen. My lawyer filed for wavier based on abuse and battery but I never called police or went any counselar since I was threatened by my ex wife. In RFE they mentioned to submit any police reports or medical reports or affidavits from counselors but I didnt had any of them besides affidavits of some of the witnesses from my ex wife’s family who witnessed my abuse. so they gave me the affidavits and their IDs along with pictures of my bruises and wounds from my ex wife. RFE also mentioned my written statement explaining my relationship with abuser(my ex wife). in addition to that I submitted a strong evidence of how my ex wife cheated on me and her pictures with her bf when she was married with me and the same person is her husband.

@Rocco Forté I got the notice today that the case is transferred to the NBC for interview. why is it transferred to NBC if my field office is Maryland?

@Hussain qadri I think it’s gonna be thought but you will win as long as your marriage was real. Remember important details of your life together. Try to gather everything you can that has both your names on them. Your lawyer sucks and you really should get a more competent lawyer.
