I-751 former divorce being deemed invalid
Hello, how’s your day going? I’m currently a conditional green card holder, but I recently had my I-751 combined with my N-400 interview, the Immigration officer kept asking me about my previous divorce legitimacy that was done in a different country, he said I’ll will either receive an rfe or Noid to prove the former divorce is legitimate, what can I do? I paid someone to do it for me and he is claiming it’s legitimate.

Go to your country’s embassy in America here and verify if its valid and if they can see it in the their system. If they don’t see it then, you know it’s not valid.

@Saleem Lawal You need to hire an independent lawyer in your country to go and verify the legitimacy of your divorce. Afterwards, he should write a very strong affidavit attesting to the validity and get same notarized and sent to you to send to USCIS. You need to do this immediately so you will be ready for when the NOID or RFE comes

@Only God Can Do It ✅ ✅✅ I tried that already but it was filled in 2016, and it wasn’t digitalized then, they just started digitalizing them recently
