I-751 (Divorce Waiver) Transferred Multiple Times – Now at Field Office, No Update
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my situation and see if anyone else has gone through something similar. I filed my I-751 (Removal of Conditions) in March 2024 after getting divorced during my 2-year conditional green card period. My conditional green card expired in April 2025. Here’s how my case has moved so far: - Filed in March 2024 → initially sent to Texas Service Center (TSC) per receipt notice - Around February 2025 → USCIS told me my case was transferred to Potomac Service Center - As of today (April 23, 2026) → USCIS says my case is now at Omaha Field Office, with no updates or decisions yet One thing that confuses me is that Omaha is not my local field office—I live in Texas It’s been over 2 years since filing, and I’m unsure what these multiple transfers mean for my case. Has anyone else had their I-751 (especially divorce waiver cases) transferred across multiple service centers and then to a non-local field office like this? Did it lead to an interview or any specific outcome? Any insights or timelines from similar experiences would really help. Thanks in advance! #i751 #greencard #removeconditions #2024
