@Shane . go to your USCIS account https://my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/cases/DELET this and put your receipt number.

this action could be because they are re-vetting all cases processing/ pending before April 27 per new policy.. they did say some accounts will show change in status

same here, waiting since April25 Orlando FL. May 1st I received a SMS and Email saying that my case got an update, I opened and still showing “your case is being processed by USCIS”. Was just an update with the same message. I thought it was just an automatic message, bc it was May 1st like 1:30am 😖

Unfortunately, this happens quite often and it’s usually nothing to worry about. These emails are often triggered by internal updates (sometimes called “silent updates”) where an officer touches or moves your file, but no visible status message is posted in your online account. This is especially common in I-751 and N-400 cases, particularly when they are pending together, because USCIS frequently links or reviews them in the background before scheduling an interview or making a decision. In many cases, this type of notification can actually be a positive sign that your case is being actively worked on, and some applicants see interview notices or approvals follow within days or weeks, though not always immediately. At this stage, you don’t need to take any action, just keep an eye on your mail (physical notices can arrive before the system updates) and your USCIS account over the next 1–2 weeks. If nothing changes after a couple of weeks, it’s still not a red flag, it just means the system triggered an update without a visible change. @Shane . my timeline is even longer and I even reached out to my congressman who made an inquiry about my case on my behalf! I filed my I-751 in October 2023 and N-400 in January 2025! I haven’t even received any email. I’m planning on doing the mandamus
