they just send to the embassy and the embassy would contact you. you can also write a inquiry to NVC to inquire about your case. NVC does send a letter when they forward to the embassy but by the time mine got to me I’d already received a message from the embassy

@Pella Ricardo case was sent to NVC btwn Feb and March, got an email from embassy in March. earliest date was March of 2024 which we booked but I checked the website everyday until I got an earlier date in August. At the interview they asked for marriage date, place, when we last saw each other, pics and other proof of relationship which we showed monetary transactions between us. that was it

@zahid khan I did a public inquiry to the NVC and was told my i-730 had already been send to my home country since 7/11/2023 and up to date I haven't heard anything from the embassy .

@jiya p please you might have misunderstood me. I did an inquiry after my case was approved. But in your case you can try to contact your senator

how long does it take for NVC to send a letter to the petitioner. my family case was approved 15 days ago in the approval letter it states that the embassy will contact the beneficiary. but I heard from many other people that NVC will contact me because I’m the petitioner. it’s been 15 days no response from NVC or embassy.

@zahid khan the duration depends on your embassy. If your case is i730 then contact your congressman person so they will help and contact your embassy.

@zahid khan first do an inquiry to NVC and ask for case number. This will help when you are communicating with your congressman. the embassy contacts the petitioner, beneficiary and attorney when there are ready for interview

@Pella Ricardo thanks for your response. I did inquiry to the NVC they are saying that they didn’t receive the file yet it’s been 30 days now . and the USCIS customer service is very bad right now. I chat with live chat agent and they are saying it take up to 90 days to be delivered to the NVC . so I can’t get the case number form NVC right now .

it’s 65 days now and nothing happened yet I have done multiple inquiries about my family petition and they are saying that they didn’t receive the file yet . so worried man . I have contacted the USCIS and they told me someone will call you back. but nothing yet .

@zahid khan am sure your approved case is still at USCIS.Just continue bugging them. there send it to NVC soon

NVC has sent my case to my home country embassy it’s been 40 days and the embassy as saying that we received your case and we will let you know when it schedules for an interview.

@zahid khan May be all the dates are already occupied. Keep writing them and asking them about your case

@usman khan go to the Islamabad embassy website there is a phone number to call for inquiry and you can send them inquiry as well.
