@A K sorry,, just saw you also tagged me on another post but let answer here. no, we did not expediate. received an interview letter like 10 days in advance ( maybe 2 weeks don’t remember exactly). the interview was very easy, just verifying legit marriage basically. officer asked like 10-15 questions and they were literally from the I-730 itself. 1. physical&maiking adress 2. when did we meet 3. what’s my husband place of birth 4. some questions about degree there were also questions about beneficiary status like what’s the current status, how long they have been in the USA and how they arrived here. that’s it.

@nishiumi tsuki yes. we sent bunch of photos when filled for I-730 but also I brought additional ones to the interview, but they didn’t ask. she did ask for the joined bank statement though, we have only joined credit cards so I gave those.

@Victoria R a quick question , did they back date the i-730 approval based on the petitioner’s asylum or it is backdated to the day you filed i-730 or to the date when it is approved ??

@Angel K I-730 approval is dated on the date it was approved. so basically adjustment of status (applying for green card) could only be filled exactly 1 year after that approval.
