Hello everyone, good afternoon.
Is anyone here also waiting for an interview at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China?
My wife’s case was transferred to the consulate in June, but there has been no update since then. When I emailed the consulate, they only replied:
“Thank you for contacting again. Please be advised that we received the beneficiary’s case on July 10, 2025, and it is currently in line to be scheduled for an interview. Due to the high volume of cases received, it may take several months for the case to be scheduled. Once the interview is scheduled, an appointment notice will be sent to the petitioner and the beneficiary by mail.”
If anyone else is also waiting for their interview at the Guangzhou Consulate, please share your updates so we can keep each other informed!

@come on 24年6月提交 25年3月份收到的信转到大使馆 25年7月底收到成功转到大使馆 就一直等面谈 25年11月中旬收到请面谈信 25年12月面谈完 现在在补材料

@Robert. Applied June 24. Transfer June 25, and Interview December 25? Is this your correct timeline? I understand that you have a USCIS field office in China. Were you interviewed by USCIS of Embassy state department visa officer?
