I-601A Case Approved in 31 Months
Abby F. shared yesterday that her I-601A was approved! Her dates are: Applied (Nebraska) 2/24/20, biometrics on 12/16/20, so 31 months and 10 days. This is in-line with the current information on the USCIS website, which shows that, as of August 31, 2022, it was taking an average of 31.3 months to process I-601A forms: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/historic-pt HUGE congrats to Abby F. and her family! This lets the rest of us know that 1) They are actively processing I-601A forms, and 2) This possibly gives some idea of current wait and timelines for those of us still anxiously waiting our turn. #I-601A #601A #Waiver #Processing #Approved #Timeline #i601a

I’m at 32+ months with January 2020 as my filing date. Idk why they skipped January. Anyone know how they process these cases? By last name? priority date? random based on files year? I’ve seen February and March 2020 approvals but no January. Congrats to Abby and this is good news to everyone anxiously waiting.
