I-485 We sent a request for initial evidence - VAWA - MEDICALS
Hi fam! after waiting for 2 months, I received an update on my USCIS tracker that the request for initial evidence has been sent. VAWA was approved in April. Have not seen the doc itself, but I assume it’s a medical.
Any experience with it? Can someone advice me where to go for medicals from you most current experience? I WOULD LOVE TO SEE Y’ALL BE HAPPY WITH YOUR RESULTS. THANKS GOD!

P.S.S. Yes; I received the updates in system for medicals. As far as I know, USICS does not usually inform applicants about RFE.

You can find a doctor near you here: https://www.uscis.gov/tools/find-a-civil-surgeon It must be a doctor from this website. After you complete the medical, the doctor will give a sealed envelope.

1) Field office 2) After VAWA approval , In your I-485 , Did you see update related to Fingerprints ?

check UCIS website and call different ones to get the cheapest. also be sure it’s the 2023 most updated form the clinic uses or it’ll cause them to send another rfq.

hey @Nick A, I also received that letter that says I-693 Deficiency Notice. What that noticed said that they did an initial review of my AOS file and they did not see medicals. BUT they asked not to mail anything at this time, They said they will send another notice to submit the medicals or they might schedule for an interview and to bring it with me then. SO if it is the same letter you received, dont do your medicals yet. Because eventhough the form for medical was just updated in march 2023 it might get updated again, and you would have to redo the medicals. It has been seven month since I got that first intitial notice, and nothing since then. I am still waiting on them to actually request to send the medicals or get ready for an interview, and only after that new notice i will get my medicals done. As you can see, the wait for me has been already seven months, so if I were you - I would not rush until you get another notice after this one. good luck
