I-485 Timeline After RFE Submission
Hi everyone,
I received an RFE requesting my medical exam and full copies of two passports. I submitted all the requested documents and USCIS received my response.
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get the I-485 approved after submitting an RFE response?

I had the same happen to me
got a REF in July for medical
about 4 months later in November got approved. about 4 weeks later received card . good luck

After USCIS receives an I-485 RFE response for a medical exam and passport copies, many people see approval within about 30 to 60 days. Some straightforward cases are approved in as little as 1 to 2 weeks, while others can take 2 to 3 months depending on the field office and whether any additional review is needed.

@m k When did you apply for your U visa, and when was it approved? I applied in October 2019 and am still waiting. There's been no RFE or any update, and the receipt number even shows as invalid in the case tracker.

I applied in 2015 and received it in Jan 2021 .
