I-485 status update “we are actively reviewing” to “case is being actively reviewed”?
I received a USCIS “action taken” email last week. Status went from “we are actively reviewing your case” (since December 2024 after my fingerprint appointment) to “your case is being actively reviewed” now. I filed I-485 in Nov 2024 with EB2 ROW PD of July 2023 so hoping that I become current by July, if not May/June. Filed I-765 and I-131 but both still pending no update. What does this status update mean and what should I expect since I’m not current yet?

hm i got the first “actively reviewing” status a few days after my fingerprint appointment in December. yes I’m in IOE 286

Reddit says it might be a sign of approval soon but unfortunately I’m not current yet… would require another big jump in May bulletin which seems unlikely

Really??? my stastus is just showing wo got your response to RFE and we have begun your case processing since January 28, further no change so far my fingerprints were done on January 13 I got Ead also end of January and later no update

my husband after fingerprints no update our pd is April 7 2023 since last month it’s current even though my RFE was cancelled I didn’t get by mail but status was showing we sent then again and again I contacted with Emma and she sent me by email and then we responded it was just only my two photographs may be they misplaced them after getting they updated status we got your response to RFE and case processing has begun

No update or interview since, still not current yet. got my EAD last month though after 5 months.
