The answer is simply: nobody knows. Sorry is not the answer we look forward to but I’ve seen people who were told that interview was waived and were called for an interview and I’ve seen people that interviewed was really waived. So it is up to the officer who adjudicate your case.

I was told my interview was waited last year. now I have interview coming up in few weeks

if it is waived it would be for both applications but please note that this doesn’t mean it will actually be waived. when it gets to the field office the officer has the final decision and may schedule an interview.

my interview was waived as well but I was told it’s still at NBC. I also did some research and found out that NBC may recommend it to be waived but the field office have the final say.

I was told by 3 different agent that my husband interview was waived however March 25, 2024 we received a interview notice... we did go to interview May 2nd and approve May 3rd... he received is 10 in hand today... good luck 🤞🏾
