I-485 interview. Reno field office.
Hello guys. So my interview was recently scheduled at the Reno field office for April 11. However, we had to reschedule because of our lawyer will be out of town and my wife had nursing school midterms. The lawyer sent them a reschedule request around the last week of March and attached her intenary with my wife class schedule on there. she requested they reschedule it after my wife is done with classes on May 13. They canceled the interview and put it on case ready to be scheduled for an interview again on 30th of March. Surprisenly, they rescheduled the interview again on April 6th and i just found out it will be on May 10. The problem with this date is that my wife has nursing school finals and she can only be excused if she has a doctors report. What do you guys suggest we do? Reschedule again? Anybody on this forum
that has been to nursing school should, should please chime in. We are just confused about this.

you might not get another chance to reschedule they might just straight deny your case

she needs to talk to her professors and let them know how important this is or if she can take her exams the day before your interview instead if can’t do it after.

Agreed, your wife needs to get her priorities in order. No exam is as important as being able to stay in the country legally, exams can be rescheduled or taken again.

@user 07782 she got a pell grant to go nursing school. and they have strict rules. she will go and speak with her director on Monday also. I understand the dangers in this process. However, I need to sympathize with her also. she has worked so hard in nursing school.

@nyte it’s a fucking pell grant lol, sorry for my harsh words, everybody gets a pell grant. like it’s not even a big deal. my wife has a pell grant and she will never put an exam over our future together. my wife is a lawyer and left her appointment just to take me to my biometric appointment. calmly speak to her about convincing her directors at school or just taking that finals some other time. another cancellation might raise fraud questions

@giftency save me a piece of cake lol i had to throw my food out because chillis tried to make me sick i ordered chicken fajita and i bit into some of the meat and it wasnt even fully cooked now doordash dont want to reinburse me but one less restaurant not to order from anymore
