I-485
Hello Lawfully Fam- I am looking for help to determine if my PD is current based on the new visa bulletin for this month. it keep looking at the chart for visa bulletin but I am getting really confused so, if anyone is very knowledgeable about this please guide me through. my PD is July 2022. the I-140 (Petition) was approved since July 2023. I have a lawyer but he doesn’t care. I don’t want to keep waiting time no more with this process so any idea would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance 🙏🏾

According to the latest visa bulletin, your PD is current. You can go ahead and submit your i485 petition.

Assuming you are filing EB3-skilled based on the tag. unless you are from China or India, you should be able to file I-485 (in fact my friend has same PD filed his application a few months ago). Here is the source: https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/visa-availability-priority-dates/adjustment-of-status-filing-charts-from-the-visa-bulletin It stated that Adjustment of Status should be using Final Action Date in visa bulletin which is November 22, 2022 (row) Wishing you all the best

Hello Lawfully Fam!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. After all the your answers regarding my pd last week, I reached out to my lawyer to let him know that I found out that my pd is current and when he’s going to file I-485 he never response back even the legal person in my company contacted him he is still not responding. He is the reason why I am still in this case after decades. so, I decided to file the form by myself since he’s responding to me. I already completed the form and done with the medical records which I will be getting from the surgeon then, I’ll be ready to submit the application to the USCIS. But I have a few more questions that I’d like you guys to help with. I would like to know what are the checklists that need to be submitted as initial evidence to uscis besides the medical records form and I-485 form? Thanks mucho in advance
