i-485
after 13 months my i-485 was transferred ti Reno field office and is not even my local field office does anyone has the same experience?

it is a good sign your case is progressing. USCIS is sending cases to non-local field offices to speed up processing times. because your case didn’t get sent to your local office means that the original processing center waived your interview. good luck

@Yesenia Encinia mine too was transferred to Alaska @ the ANC office. It has been about 2 weeks and I haven’t heard anything since. I got my first actively reviewing on March 8th , 2024while my PD is Oct 2022

@Yesenia Encinia yeah mine too was sent to different field office hope we all get approve soon i was told my interview is been waived too finger crossed

@Yesenia Encinia @UKtoUS 4879 @Kiki 876 hey guys. how did you find out about case being sent to field office? I found through Emma today that NBC waived the interview but it hasn’t been yet sent to field office

if you asked Emma which field office your case was at and she said it hasn’t been sent yet then you are still waiting for them to transfer it. they can’t tell you which office they plan on transferring it to until they actually send it
