I-485 (CR1) Approved đź’—
Goodnight everyone!
I had my green card (I-485) interview this morning, and my husband and I are so grateful — we were approved on the spot! As soon as we walked in, the officer told us we’d be done in 5 minutes. He only asked to see our government IDs, ran through a few yes/no questions from the I-485, and that was it — we were out of there!
I had put together a huge folder with every document possible and even designed a photo album, but he didn’t ask for any of it. The officer was super friendly, and the whole conversation felt so natural and easy. He also said I should get my card in the mail in 2–3 weeks — hopefully tomorrow the website updates, since it still says “interview scheduled.”
Good luck to everyone still waiting! It really does work out in the end — just stay patient. It’s not always as stressful or difficult as people online make it seem.
(filled and prepared everything on our own, no lawyer needed)

@million Wilson hi thank you, my field office was at Nashville, everyone who had an interview walked in an out so fast and happy I believed we all got approved.
I did bio on Jan 21 a week after I got a rfe , so I was told it will take about 6 months or more till the interview after the rfe and it did. took 5months to get the letter that my interview was scheduled and I had my interview yesterday Aug 21 so in total exactly 6 months after my rfe got sent In.
if you do not have a rfe and all your docs are good, then there's a possibility you can get through before 6months, but 6months is the minimum wait time
