Does I-485 count from i-140’s PD?
Hi!
I have a PD on my i-140(EB1C) from August of 2023, ROW and current since then(actually since October 2024).
My i-140 was approved in March 2024 ( while my i-765 and i-131 in February 2024)
when looking at average dates and timelines for my i-485, should I consider that it was presented in November of 2023? Or, I should take August of 2023(i-140 PD date)?

PD is always date on which I140 is approved. so, your PD is March 2024

thanks @G L . I didn’t know that. in my i-797(recwipt of i-140 and i-485) it says that my priority date is August 2023… Does it get changed by the i-140 approval date?

@D P thanks. what you said is what I thought. @G L do you agree that since my i-140 (approved already) was presented in August of 2023, then my PD is August of 2023?

@Harry The Dirty PD is date when you employer filed for labor certification with department of labor.

thanks @ Dream Dream . in my case, L1A visa to EB1-3, there is no need for the PERM. they submitted the i-140 in August of 2023.

hi @Kevin Rowe ! I see that your timeline is pretty similar to mine. You should have the i-131 approved soon hopefully like I had.

I won't have 131 approval as I've travelled endlessly on my L1A since applied for it. I don't need it tbh

@Kevin Rowe yes, me too. in fact I’m not sure yet if when coming in back, now that I have a i-131, if I need tonpresent the L1A or the AP 😂
