I-485 based on NIW approved
I retained Maryam Rangwala from Yang & Assoc (elawtoday.com) and we filed both the NIW I-140 and I-485 concurrently last year. the whole process took just 1 year and 7 days. That is, we had our green cards at hand just about 1 year from submitting the application package.

@anik congratulations!!! what’s your PD?
Anik IqbalSep 29, 2021
for my country the priority dates are current (there’s no backlog).

Congrats! Just to make sure: you got combo card before biometrics? I thought fingerprints are required for combo card
Anik IqbalSep 30, 2021
Dimitri, apparently fingerprints aren’t required for combo card. If fingerprints are available, that data will be included in the card. My card read “fingerprint not available”. the sequence of things depend mostly on the case officer- how he wants to proceed with things.
