i-485
Hello, how are you? I hope you are all well and your processes are going well. I wanted to know if any of you have been approved for an adjustment of status or I-485 that was submitted last year. My date is March 13, 2024 and I already had my I-130 approved more than 40 days ago, but the I-485 has been around for 14 months and nothing. Any words of help or for someone who has gone through the same thing, thank you.

@DDomar D Hi, the 130 is required for the 485 to be approved. I did some quick research and this can happen (the time frame between 130 and 485 . Do you know which field office has your file? You can look that up based on where you live.

@DDomar D Hi, all 130 and 485 are adjudicated at a field office not national benifits center. The application is sent from NBC to the field office where you live. NBC only makes decisions on the 765 and 131. You can look up the processing times for your office. However, the amount of time between the two (130 and 485) seems a bit long. This whole process is very stressful. I hope you get an answer soon.
