can someone answer this question please. I see U for other religious workers on visa bulletin. we have applied since Aug 2022 and received priority date. does that affect us?

The U refers to non ministers who enjoyed Religious Worker Visas in the past. That category comes to an end very soon and unless Congress extends it, that's the end of the non minister R1 visa category.
