i-485
Can anyone please guide me..
My wife is a us lawful permanent resident
She's filled only i-130
My question Is.. Is this mandotry to filling i485? With i130 or once get approved i130 then after we filling i485?
Please help me

If you are filling from within the US you cannot file for adjustment of status (i-485) until there’s a visa available for you or she becomes a citizen. If you are filling for consular processing (you are in your country, not the US) you don’t have to use that form, only i-130

you are not qualified for concurrent filing so the answer is no, you have to wait until the i-30 is approved

@Hamza Hussain if you don't have legal status right now your're not eligible to file I-485. you'll have to wait until she becomes a US citizen.

@Hamza Hussain probably you're outside the US. if you're outside you don't need to file I-485. you'll have to wait I-130 approval, then you'll receive Welcome letter, submit some civil documents, get interviewed in the US embassy in your country, get visa, come to the US and get your gc.
