Your timeline is a bit confusing. IR6 is when at the time of your approval, 2 years has passed since the day of your wedding anniversary. And based on your timeline, the I485 form was sent last year. Anyway, it is a good thing that you sent it back for correction. For them to send you back your GC, the minimum of waiting is at least 1 year. I hope you made some photocopies of your GC before sending it back.
