I-485 : Priority date vs received date
Hi all, I sent my I-485 application for permanent residence to the USCIS on May 28th 2024 based on the approved I-130. Yesterday I received the notice for I-485. However, the priority date is the same as I-130 which is December 28th 2020. And it mentioned on the notice that "If this notice contains a priority date, this priority does not reflect earlier retained priority dates." What does that mean? Thanks

I have the exact same case, I sent my 1-130 May 2022 and the I-485 November 2023. I believe the PD is the same as the I-130 but I am not entirely sure

I’m assuming you are married to a USC and inside the US? If yes, the priority date doesn’t apply to you (that’s for people outside of the US)
