congratulations! what was your field office? and what RFE you got? Did you apply for yourself or any dependents? Did you respond to RFE via online portal?

@BL D Thanks! My FO was Boise, ID. I got two RFEs for my medical documents. The first asked for the entire report, even though it was already scanned with the original packet. The second said it was incomplete, which turned out to be a clinic error. They fixed it, I resent it expedited, and today it got approved!

@who made thanks for your reply. How did you expedite it for i-485? was it taking more than the regular processing time according to your field office?

@BL D I initially had my I-485 case at NBC. After reaching out to my Congress member and Senator about my situation, including family separation and humanitarian reasons, I received a response after a month stating they had inquired on my behalf. Three weeks later, when I checked with Emma, I was informed that my case had been transferred to the Field Office, and my interview was waived.

@BL D thank you for your reply. I don’t know that you could expedite your AOS application as well. specially when it’s under processing timeline. I also submitted expedited request through my attorney for i-131 on humanitarian basis and they approved it, but not for my dependants. I am still waiting on it. did you use attorney or you filed for AOS, AP and EAD all by yourself?

@BL D I did have attorney.. but I didn’t request expedite request through them… instead I expressed my pressing situation to the congress in my county.. they followed up my application throughout..
